Amy provides Early Childhood programs with a variety of services (teacher workshops in music and movement, ukulele classes, consultations) and the following school assembly or classroom programs:
Grow Your Own Music: I play several instruments (ukulele, guitar,
banjo), teach songs about the earth, gardens, insects, etc, using movement and
The Little Things: Songs on small instruments (kalimba,
banjolele, ukulele, harmonica, slide whistle, ocarina, mini-dobro and mini
autoharp) about small things! I bring a variety of props and puppets with
me for this fascinating and non-threatening program!
From Earth to Kitchen: Songs about farms, food, cooking and healthy
bodies! Kitchen utensils and recycled
items are used to make music also!
New Hampshire’s Natural Habitats: Songs about Ponds, Rivers, Mountains, Oceans,
and the creatures who inhabit them.
I Sing Every Day: Family folk songs, singalongs and puppet
comedy for large events, family nights, etc.
An evening program of lullabies, singalongs, gentle puppets and soothing
instruments, perfect for family nights. BYO Bear!
Teddy Bear Jamboree: Children (and adults) bring their teddy bears (and Amy brings her bear costume) for songs about bears, forests, friendshop, trees and
Holiday Programs: Available upon request for Valentines, Spring,
Independence Day, Halloween,
Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays.
Teacher Workshops: Several kinds available, email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the needs of your center. Combining centers is a cost-effective way to have a workshop. Movement, songs, literacy development, and fun! UKULELE workshops for teachers also!
All of the student programs introduce several instruments, are
suitable for children ages 0-8, and are hands-on, participatory
movement-oriented programs. Small or large
groups, indoors or out. Amy Conley has received training in Early Childhood Music
Development from Music Together® in Princeton NJ, The Longy School of Music, The Early
Childhood Music & Movement Association, and The Children’s Music
Network. She now leads workshops for
teachers as an Early Childhood Master Professional (Allied Professional) for NHDHHS Child Development Bureau, and has performed and taught music for young
children and families since 1986 in MA and NH.
Since 1984 in NH and MA, Amy has been serving the needs of preschools, daycare centers & college early childhood programs with her musical education for children and teachers. Her classes for parents with children ages birth to six have been growing since 1986 and have served thousands of families from all over NH & MA.
